Commendation: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres
Karen Abernethy Architects for Jewel house
The remodeling of this Victorian house aims to provide its inhabitants with a home that is a sanctuary. The addition is a singular, elegant, triangulated volume which brings in light through the use of skylights which, together with brick lattice screen, create a beautiful dance of light and shadow.
