Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres

On a tight urban block in Bondi Junction, this addition to a small workers cottage is like a giant three dimensional puzzle. Heavily constrained by adjoining buildings, a series of voluminous interlinked spaces added within the available building envelope capture the light and extend the perception of space.
