10km west of Sydney’s centre, a lush garden under a framed sky, lit by softly reflected sunlight from tall cedar-clad walls is the secluded heart of Courted House. A domestic ‘bush’ is created around which the whole interior opens to become a verandah; garden and home made inextricably one.
