This refurbishment and extension of a significant Victorian home unfolds across the length of the site, with purposeful subtractions and adjustments in reaction to climate and place. Eschewing the traditional backyard format for a sun-filled courtyard plan; a purity of materials allows for a flexibility and responsiveness in form.
