Shortlist: New House under 200 square metres
Chris Connell Design for Cumulus House
Fusing post-war modernism with traditional Australian fibro beach shack vernacular, Cumulus House is a restrained coastal retreat sited on a steep hillside. Both intensely private and outward looking, screened from the street by a minimal façade. Its northern orientation takes advantage of views to the ocean and forest valley.
