Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition over 200 square metres
MCK Architects for Taroela
Taroela is a study of addition and subtraction, centred around embracing the filigree of a heritage home whilst inserting contemporary form and space to create a modern family home. Natural light, ventilation and a sense of expansion were the antidote to the detail and constriction of the existing Victorian dwelling.
