Arcke for River Hearth House
The riverfront home and studio is a considered cluster of intimate permeable fragmented forms that quietly coexist with site. The physical and metaphorical ‘hearth’ of the reinterpreted original brick fireplace serves as a soulful connection to both place and previous occupation. Interstitial spaces created harbour life, landscape and connection.
