House in Lilyfield is a small extension that fills in an anomalous void in the streetscape, preserving and celebrating the cottage vernacular. A suspended timber-clad addition with a cantilevered bay window hovers above the ground plane, in a corridor of trees. Garden views unfold throughout the home.
