Shortlist: New House over 200 square metres
Downie North for Castlecrag Courtyard
Nested on the ridge of Castlecrag the house wraps around a north facing central courtyard. Part tree house, part cave it recalls surrounding rock escarpments and undercrofts whilst intermediating a relationship between the regenerated endemic garden it enjoys and the aspect across Sydney’s Middle Harbour.
