Shortlist: New House over 200 square metres
Luigi Rosselli Pty Ltd for Terra Firma
The house embodies Domus Terrae, an earthly abode utilising three primary materials - rammed earth, recycled brick and reused terracotta roof tiles, each contributing to a lower carbon footprint. The Latin for ‘solid ground’, terra firma was an expression used by mariners seeking stability, is echoed in the owners lives.
