Cheah Saw Architecture for Hawthorn House
Hawthorn House occupies a narrow site with a series of alternating indoor and outdoor spaces. These are expressed as dark boxes on the ground, opening out to and delineated by landscaped courtyards. Floating above, tying them together, is a light volume that graduates from solid to translucent.
